Rosebank Surgery
From Thursday, 2nd April, Rosebank Surgery is a Covid-19 hub. This means that Rosebank Surgery is shut for all normal services.
You can still contact the surgery via the phone, our website and Severnvale Surgery and Kingsway Health Centre will remain open as normal.
Patients with Covid-19 symptoms from across the city will be seen at the hub by appointment ONLY.
Bank Holidays
Our surgeries will be closed on the following Bank Holidays:
- Early May bank holiday (VE day) 08/05/2020
- Spring bank holiday 25/05/2020
- Summer bank holiday 31/08/2020
- Christmas Day 25/12/2020
- Substitute day (for Boxing Day) 28/12/2020
Protected Learning Time
The surgery will be closed for Protected Learning Time and Clinical Governance on the following dates:
- Wednesday, May 20th, 2020: 14:00 – 17:00
- Wednesday, July 8th, 2020: 14:00 – 17:00
- Wednesday, November 25th, 2020: 14:00 – 17:00
Telephone Lines
Our appointment phone line is open 08:00 – 12:30 then 14:00 – 18:00.
For emergencies our phone lines are available from 08:00 – 18:30
For emergencies after 18:30, please call NHS 111.
Extended Hours
The Surgery now offers some appointments outside normal hours (extended hours) to help those who cannot get to normal surgeries. These appointments are for non-urgent routine matters, such as reviews and follow-ups.
Please note the Reception staff will ask you the reason for your appointment to ensure that it is appropriate to book one of these appointments.
Out of Hours Service
Out of hours is the period between 18:30 and 08:00 on weekdays and covers all day and night at weekends and holidays.
If you need treatment or care out of hours that cannot wait until our surgery re-opens, please ring 111. To ensure that patients benefit from quick access to help, please do not use this number for prescriptions, test results, or routine matters.
It is solely for urgent out of hours medical matters.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
